Baladna and Al Rayyan Sports Club Sign Sponsorship Agreement

    DOHA, QATAR, February 05, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Al Rayyan Sports Club and Baladna Food Industries announced today the signing of sponsorship agreement to have Baladna as the official sponsor of Al Rayyan Football team who plays in QNB Stars league for the next two seasons. The sponsorship agreement was signed by H.E. ِ Ali Bin Saud Al Thani, President of Al Rayyan Sports Club and Mr. Moutaz Al Khayyat, Chairman of Baladna Food Industries.

On this occasion, Sheikh Ali Bin Saud Al Thani, President of Al Rayyan Sports Club, praised Baladna initiative to sponsor Al Rayyan team hoping that this cooperation will continue in the future, with other major companies in the country taking a similar approach as Baladna by sponsoring other teams in the league as part of their social responsibility which will help sports in Qatar and elevate it to higher levels.

On his side Mr. Moutaz Al-Khayyat, said: "This sponsorship of Al Rayyan Sports Club football team comes as a part of our Corporate social responsibility policy we have adopted in Baladna and all of our companies, to take part in serving the Qatari society and its advancement knowing that sports is one of the prime activities our government supports. We consider the success of the QNB Stars League, with the caliber of the players in it, to be our success."

Mr. Al Khayyat expressed his pleasure with al Rayyan management to have Baladna as the sponsor of its football team and extended his gratitude to teams of both parties who worked on this agreement.

Baladna is located north of the city of Doha and spreads over an area of 2.4 million sqm, with a capacity to house 24,000 cows. Baladna provides a comfortable and well-conditioned environment for the cows, allowing them to reach their production capacity comfortably.
