Constance A. Burns has been Inducted into the Marquis Who's Who Registry

Ms. Burns has prospered as the founder and chief executive officer of the National Association of American Veterans, Inc.

    WASHINGTON, DC, March 26, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Constance A. Bums has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Burns is renowned as a veterans' service advocate and the chief executive officer of the National Association of American Veterans, Inc. Prior to embarking upon her professional path, she obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in secondary education and history from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Earning a post-master's certificate in education at the University of Alabama, Ms. Burns subsequently completed a doctoral fellowship and course work at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie-Mellon University.

Since 2005, Ms. Burns has been dedicated to her mission to provide one-on-one counseling for Veterans as the chief executive officer and the president of the National Association of American Veterans. She formerly excelled as advisor to the President's Commission on Care of America's Returning Wounded Warriors and the Task Force on Mental Health and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder of Those Returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. A significant presenter on mental health for veterans and dependents, Ms. Burns is an active member of the advisory board of the VA Caregiver Support Program and the NAAV Military Family Program.

Furthermore, Ms. Burns is the co-author and manager of "The U.S. Army's First, Last, and Only All-Black Rangers: The 2d Ranger Infantry Company (Airborne) in the Korean War, 1950-195J" in 2009. She additionally co-authored "Stella's Girl: The Autobiography of Captain Evelyn Decker, a World War II and Korean War Veteran" in 2008. Notably, Ms. Bums has been recognized as the first African-American woman to receive a fellowship from the West Point United States Army Center of Military History, as well as the first curator of training or all United States Army Museums.
