Between 2004 and 2013, Ms. Gosfield also worked as the chairman of the board for the Health Care Incentives Improvement Institute.

An expert in her field, Ms. Gosfield earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and international relations from Barnard College in 1970 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the New York University School of Law. Among many other government agencies and non-profit organizations, she has been called on by the National Academy of Sciences and the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research for her expertise. In light of her professional accomplishments, she has been honored on many occasions, earning recognition among the Top 25 Health Lawyers in the USA in 2009, the Health Lawyer of the Year in Philadelphia in 2010, and among the Best Lawyers in America in Health Law annually since the inception of the health law category in 1991.
