With more than 15 years in Vermont tourism to his credit, Mr. Hopkins has become an authority in his industry. Currently serving as president of Lord & Hopkins Inc and credentialed as a tourism ambassador for the state of Vermont, he excels as the owner of Inn to Inn, which brings clients from all over the United States and a number of global travelers to experience Vermont by bicycle or hiking/walking. Mr. Hopkins is a Flotilla Commander in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Prior to becoming a travel professional, Mr. Hopkins pursued his education with a Bachelor of Arts in history from Fitchburg State University in 1999. In 2012, he was certified in finance regulation and became a licensed insurance agent in the state of Vermont. Mr. Hopkins was mentored by Tony Clark.

Apart from his primary vocation in travel, Mr. Hopkins volunteers in his field and community. The current grand organist of the Grand Lodge of Freemasons of Vermont, he has chaired Select Board (governing body) in Brandon, Vermont since 2017, being elected to the board by the town each year since 2015. From 2007 to 2013, he was a director of the Heart of Vermont Lodging Association, served on the board of the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area Association from 2014 through 2018, and was treasurer of the Brandon Area Chamber of Commerce for five years. Mr. Hopkins was a candidate for the Vermont State House of Representatives Rutland-6 District in 2012 and 2018.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Hopkins collaborates with others to accomplish shared goals through through a number of non-profit organizations. He is a state officer of the Vermont Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Society of the War of 1812 in the State of Vermont, the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, and a life member of the Royal Society of St George and the Naval Order of the United States. Likewise, Mr. Hopkins is a longtime member of the National Grange, the Knights Templar, and Phi Alpha Theta. He is a 32nd degree Mason.

Mr. Hopkins married Olga Polomoshnova in 2003 and is the proud father of three children, Klara, Agatha and Renata. In his free time, he enjoys studying genealogy. Mr. Hopkins additionally performed as organist at the National Grange Convention in 1997.

In light of his many contributions to the field, Mr. Hopkins has been presented with a number of awards and accolades throughout his career. He accepted the Good Citizen Award from the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1994, the New Auxiliarist of the Year Award in 2018 from Coast Guard Division 15, the Meritorious Service Award from the Sons of the American Revolution in 2018, and the State Distinguished Service Medal from the same organization in 2020. Mr. Hopkins has been further featured in several editions of Who's Who in America.
