Prior to embarking upon her path as an artist, Louise earned a Bachelor's degree in Midwifery from Melli University in Iran. On a visit to the magnificent, opulent city of Isfahan, she was struck by the rich beauty found in the hand-painted tiling, vibrant mosaics, and idyllic architecture.
A mother of six children, Louise rediscovered her passion for art in her son's Santa Monica classroom, where her love for creative expression was rekindled. Producing intricate mosaics gave her the freedom to express herself more fully than words allow. She loves the problem-solving aspect of design, and enjoys collaborating with architects and contractors. Her husband Aziz grew fond of his wife's newfound passion and has worked closely with her on many projects.
She has been featured in Santa Monica Daily, LA Times, New York Times, TLC, HGTV, McDonalds Restaurant education, Kaiser Permanent Santa Monica and San Luis Obispo County, inspiring artists worldwide. Her journey into the world of mosaic art began at her own home in Santa Monica, which she has covered with mosaic scenes of nature, love, and life. The walls tell a story, and each passerby is greeted by strikingly vivid colors.
Louise attributes her success to her husband, children, and her own persistence. She plans to further explore her passion, creating more unique, timeless pieces to share with the world.
