An accomplished listee, Dr. Russo celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in his field. Teaching in several private and public schools throughout New York, Dr. Russo has leveraged more than 45 years of expertise in the field of education. First hired to teach at Saint Margaret's School in the Bronx in 1955, she was subsequently recruited by Sacred Heart in New York City the following year. By 1957, she began her tenure with the Board of Education in New York City. Aligned with Harborfields District #6 in Long Island since 1960, Dr. Russo specializes in literacy and mathematics.

In addition to her full-time commitments in the classroom, Dr. Russo provided her expertise as a member of the board of directors in the school of education at Fordham University between 1993 and 1998. She was also a founding member of the President's Advisory Council during 2017. In 2004, one of Dr. Russo's articles was published in Gifted Child Quarterly, a peer-reviewed academic journal, "Creative Problem Solving Strategies of Bright and Average Students (5th and 6th Graders)."

For the past 25 years, Dr. Russo has been involved in numerous educational initiatives, including serving on the board of directors' advisory council for the Fordham University Alumni Association since 1995. She is a former alumni advisor council member, first vice president and Long Island representative of the recruitment program at Marymount Manhattan College between 1985 and 1992. She also co-directed the Just Say No campaign at the Thomas J. Lahey School in New York. Through her community, Dr. Russo has provided her time as a campaign volunteer for the Democratic Party in New York City and as a volunteer at Saint John's Hospital on Long Island.

Eminently qualified, Dr. Russo received a Bachelor of Arts at Marymount Manhattan College in 1953, followed by a Master of Science in education at Fordham University in 1959. She later attended Hofstra University, from which she acquired a diploma in literacy in 1978, a Doctor of Philosophy in literacy, English and psychology in 1987 and undertook additional postgraduate courses between 1987 and 1988. Dr. Russo is certified in litigation through Adelphi University and the National Center for Paralegal Training, and is a certified English teacher for grades seven through 12.

Aligned with several industry-related organizations, Dr. Russo has been active on the board of directors and as the vice president of the Guilford International Society of Intelligence Education since 1990 and 1991, respectively. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the New York Academy of Sciences, the New York Orton Dyslexia Society, the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children and, among others, the Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder. Dr. Russo is also a member and former chapter first vice president of Phi Delta Kappa.

Dr. Russo received several Teacher and Student Participation Awards since the early 1990s, an Alumni Achievement Award from Fordham University and a Mother Butler Gold Cross for her commitment to high ideals in education and to Marymount Manhattan College. She was more recently honored with a Pierre Gilhac Award for Outstanding Commitment to Education by Marymount Manhattan College in 2013. A celebrated Marquis listee, Dr. Russo has featured in over 20 editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the East, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.

Dr. Russo resides in Northport with her husband, Victor Donald Russo, Esq., who was recognized as a Top Attorney of North America by Who's Who Directories, in 2017, having spent more than 60 years as a negligent trial attorney with Allstate Insurance Company, and as a plaintiff's attorney in the prominent Agent Orange Case, the largest product liability litigation in American legal history. In 1990 they traveled extensively to the Orient where both had the opportunity to experience an Oriental culture. They visited schools in Hong Kong, attended classes in Seoul, Korea and then in Yokohama, Japan where Christine presented her dissertation, A Comparative Study of Creativity and Cognitive Problem-Solving Strategies of High-IQ and Average Students. The trip also included a visit and a tour to Kyoto, the Shrine city.
