Prior to his post with EPGD, Mr. Diaz gained valuable expertise as an attorney for an eponymous private practice. During this time, he supervised the acquisition of series a round seeding funding of $150,000 for a startup client, counseled on master rights and publishing agreements, securing more than $110,000 in advance payments for music industry clients, and obtained the dismissal of a breach of contract lawsuit alleging $500,000 in damages against a business client. Earlier in his career, Mr. Diaz worked as federal litigation clerk for Aronfeld Trial Lawyers from 2017 until 2018, a professor of intellectual property law for Atlantic University College in Puerto Rico from 2016 until 2017 and a business development executive for Muuaaa between 2014 and 2015.
Over the years, Mr. Diaz also honed his expertise in law with Fiddler Gonzales & Rodriguez, Martinez Ramos Law Offices and Villanova University. Due to his considerable expertise, he flourished as a moderator for the Celebrity Panel of Entrepreneurship in the Arts for the Puerto Rico House of Representatives, a distinguished lecturer at the H3 Tech Conference and a distinguished speaker at the Pablo Neruda Writing Workshop.
After earning a diploma from Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola in 2006, Mr. Diaz furthered his education with a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and international business from Villanova University. He concluded his academic efforts with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. Upon his graduation, Mr. Díaz is admitted to practice through the Florida Bar and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Due to his knowledge and experiences, Mr. Diaz contributed to Somos Pelea in California and Metro News in Puerto Rico as a staff writer, and as the producer of "Edman" in Miami, Florida. In recognition of his professional accomplishments, he obtained the Margaret Cecilia Baney Award from Villanova University in 2007 and the Behance Portfolio Appreciation Award in 2013.
