Meyer Robert Rosen Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

An accomplished listee, Mr. Rosen celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Mr. Rosen has excelled in his current position as the President of Interactive Consulting, Inc. He is well known as a forensic chemical expert who is experienced in toxic torts, personal injury, product liability, intellectual property and trade secret litigation; Meyer is also internationally known in the cosmetic science and related specialty chemical product development areas. He holds more than 20 patents within his professional specialties.
Previously, Mr. Rosen began his career with the Silicones Division of Union Carbide Corporation. His initial assignment was as a Research Engineer. Thereafter, he was promoted to Project Scientist and then to Development Scientist.

In parallel with his industrial job, Meyer served for 15 years as an Adjunct Professor of Fire Chemistry at Westchester Community College, Valhalla, NY where he trained professional and volunteer fire fighters in the scientific aspects of hazardous chemicals, fires and explosions.

Prior to Mr. Rosen's transition from an industrial/academic environment to his consulting career at Interactive Consulting, Meyer attended the Tri-State Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine where he was introduced to the study of skin properties associated with oriental medicine. He then expanded his interest and studies in the properties of skin, as viewed from an energetic context. Mr. Rosen then began attending numerous training courses taught by international leaders in this field. With this further information he integrated this technology into new thinking paths for the field of cosmetics and the skin anti-aging paradigm. Meyer had an article published in the American Journal of Acupuncture on Reflex Correspondence Therapy, a term he coined, and later became a course teacher on the subject for the New York College of Health Professions. He also organized and moderated a technical session at the well- known North American In-Cosmetics Symposium, entitled "Entering the Era of Vibrational Cosmetics: The Next Generation Approach to Mind-Body & Skin Regeneration"

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Rosen pursued an education at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, Tandon School of Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He concluded his studies with the aforementioned university, and graduated with a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering. For his Master's thesis Meyer conducted cutting edge research under a grant from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. His work focused on the first color electrophotographic toners for three-dimensional surfaces. Mr. Rosen has further obtained certifications from the American Institute of Forensic Examiners and the American Board of Forensic Engineering & Technology. He was additionally certified as a fire and explosion investigator, a professional chemical engineer and a professional chemist. On the international scene, Meyer was certified as a Chartered Chemist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in the U.K.

Furthermore, Mr. Rosen was a Course Director for the Center for Professional Advancement and has been an Executive Adviser for the American Board of Forensic Engineering & Technology. He also served for many years as the Chief Scientific Advisor and Director of Technical and Regulatory programs for the HBA Global Expo Cosmetic Science Conference held annually at the Javits Center in New York City.

Meyer has found success with his written works as well. He wrote the major rheological technical literature used internationally for many years by Brookfield Engineering Laboratories. In the book area, he began by co-authoring the "Rheology Modifiers Handbook: Practical Use & Application". Mr. Rosen then became Editor of the widely read "Delivery System Handbook- for Personal Care and Cosmetic Products: Technology, Applications, and Formulations". He went on to become the Editor in Chief of the 9th ed. of Harry's Cosmeticology (www.harryscosmeticology.com) - a 3 volume, 2,600 page textbook designated by the International Federation of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) as one of the three classics of Cosmetic Science Education. Mr. Rosen also thrived as editor and author for Elsevier Publication's series "Breakthroughs in Personal Care and Cosmetic Technology- Cosmetic Focus and Cosmetic Science".

Meyer has provided his wealth of knowledge as an author and editor for numerous peer-reviewed professional journals and, according to Research Gate, his articles have been cited almost 1,000 times. Mr. Rosen was also recruited to the Editorial Advisory Board of the Knovel Corporation and contributed to the selection of technical books for publication and advertising. He currently serves as the Editor- in- Chief of Eurocosmetics Magazine (Germany)- "the Magazine for Cosmetic Industry Leaders".

Meyer remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He has contributed to a wide variety of professional organizations and was recently acknowledged for many years of service by ASTM, the standards- making body (American Society of Testing Materials.)

Other organizations Mr. Rosen has been affiliated include: the American Institute of Chemists, the American Chemical Society and the American Industrial Hygiene Association. Meyer also served as Vice President of the Association of Consulting Chemists and Chemical Engineers. Additionally, he was also a contributing member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Society of Safety Professionals and the Society of Chemical Industry. Mr. Rosen was also a member of the American Medical Writers Association, the National Association of Science Writers and currently is a member of the National Fire Protection Association.

In light of his exceptional undertakings, Meyer has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career. Notably published in the U.K. magazine, Lawyer's Monthly, his expertise as a forensic chemical expert was recently acknowledged in an interview that provided guidance to attorneys in litigation matters. He has also been recognized as a Chartered Chemist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the American Institute of Chemists.

Mr. Rosen was selected as a Vaaler Awards judge by Chemical Processing Magazine. The awards competition honored products that improved operations or lowered costs for the chemical processing industry. He was also selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the East.

Meyer credits the key mentors who guided him at critical moments in his career path and points out that to grow towards who an individual can become, the view of others should be treasured.
