Over the years, Mr. Casagrande has also gained valuable executive expertise in business and finance through his work on the executive committee of The International Association of Microfinance Investors, as a fund advisor for Plebys, an impact investment firm in Irvine, CA and as a director of Planet Finance of Paris, France.
During the inaugural 15 years of his career, Mr. Casagrande built his foundational business skills through various financial management positions with Ford Motor Company, Mazda Motor Company, Colgate Palmolive, and Coopers & Lybrand. Educationally, Mr Casagrande completed three degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Colgate University in 1985, and a Master of Science in accounting from New York University in 1987. Mr. Casagrande concluded his education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration in finance and marketing through the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1990.
Devoted to community service, Mr. Casagrande served on the United Nations global board of advisors for its International Year of Microcredit.
