Frank Russell Denton Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    LAWRENCEVILLE, GA, July 10, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Frank Russell Denton with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Denton celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Dr. Denton was the first trio-degree graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (B.S. Biochemistry; B.S. Botany; B.A. German; 1975-1980), then earned Chemistry M.S. (1990) and Ph.D. (1991) degrees there. He earned dual J.D. and M.B.A. degrees (1998-2001) at the University of Georgia, where he was on award-winning business plan and venture capital teams.

Dr. Denton was listed in the fourth edition of Marquis' Who's Who® in Science & Engineering. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Bell Communications Research (Red Bank, NJ), then was a Motorola manager for energy product development and strategic partnerships (Plantation, FL; Lawrenceville, GA). He has numerous scientific publications, a book chapter on electrical and optical polymers, 10 patents, and a biomimetic model for combinatorial antibiotics.

In law, Dr. Denton is licensed by the Georgia Bar and U.S. Patent Office. He was a contract and staff chem/pharma patent attorney at global law firm King & Spalding, and was later of counsel for Arnall Golden Gregory. Since 2007 he has had his own firm, Denton Intellectual Property Law Firm, offering legal services, strategy and innovation, and has been on 20 venture launch teams, mainly for consumer products, medical devices, botanicals and other bioactive inventions.

Dr. Denton has taught as adjunct or visiting professor at: University of Georgia (law; chemistry); Kennesaw State University (law/business; chemistry); and University of Phoenix (M.B.A. program), and was on panels for global dissertation awards in entrepreneurship. He developed the first patent license valuation method, attracting economists, bankers, patent brokers and a global applications firm, and continues to develop intellectual asset pricing algorithms.

In outside affiliations, Dr. Denton was a 20-year scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America (Lawrenceville and Buford, GA), and is a member of Lawyers of Distinction, American Chemical Society, honor societies Beta Gamma Sigma and Sigma Iota Epsilon, and other groups.
