NEW YORK, NY, July 14, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The New York State Public Employee Conference has contracted Fuse Systems to design, develop and maintain their website, NYSPEC.org. Fuse is committed to providing technical solutions to their clients, delivering custom software and websites that fit their specific needs.
"The New York State Public Employee Conference website had not been updated in many years. It needed a complete overhaul, which necessitated a significant amount of work," said NYSPEC Chairman, Peter D. Meringolo.
He continued, "After meeting with Elyse Eversman-Amar, the Founder and President of Fuse Systems, and learning about her services, I decided to seek her input with respect to revamping PEC's website.
"I was immediately impressed with her ideas and suggestions, and decided to give her a try run at proposing a new image for us.
"Elyse spent many hours on the phone with us, offering suggestions and prospective changes and designs regarding ways to make our website current and achieving the goal of making it an excellent source of information and communication for our members. The fact that she had already had experience as the communications professional for other unions, and was cognizant of the need to protect our members' personal information, underscored the effort to make the site accessible and attractive to the public, yet useful and beneficial to the needs of our diverse membership.
"She was receptive to all our concerns, and every suggestion we made, many to which she offered better alternatives. I am compelled to say that I could not be more pleased with the final product, and I am excited to announce the new site to our membership.
"I strongly recommend the services of Elyse's firm, Fuse Systems, to any union, group, or organization that is seeking a truly superlative concern to manage any number of systems they deal with, whether it be database management, website administration, digital marketing services such as social media, etc.
"Elyse is an excellent person to work with, and her knowledge of the many services she offers is exceptional."
Elyse Eversman-Amar President of Fuse Systems, said, "Fuse has always worked closely with labor unions and has helped scale their resources to meet the demands placed on them. Having the opportunity to work with an organization like NYSPEC is an honor. The mission of NYSPEC is focused on advancing the interests of public employees. We wanted to help publicize this mission through their online presence. This newly developed website will be an important resource to the NYSPEC membership and public, highlighting the initiatives and hard work NYSPEC puts forth for labor unions. Fuse's goal is to continue to facilitate the growth of union-affiliated organizations through our customized technology solutions."

About The New York State Public Employee Conference, NYSPEC
The New York State Public Employee Conference (NYSPEC) was formed in 1977 as a means of bringing together labor organizations having public employee members in New York City and New York State, and becoming a unified voice for them. What began then as a group of 13 member unions, today boasts more than 80 member unions and umbrella organizations, and is still growing!
NYSPEC promotes the general welfare of all member organizations and acts as a clearinghouse for legislative issues on behalf of them. They represent the interests of public employees, striving to improve their working conditions, and fighting to preserve and enhance their lives. NYSPEC gives their members a strong voice, not only in the political arena, but with benefit- and service-providers as well. They conduct two major events each year – an Annual Legislative Breakfast and an Annual Convention – as well as other meetings throughout the year. While their annual membership meeting is held at their convention, along with pertinent presentations on various current issues, it is chiefly a planning session for legislative strategy and the following year's legislative agenda. Their Legislative Breakfast, held each year early in the state's legislative session, provides an opportunity to present their agenda to the governor and members of the state legislature. NYSPEC has become such a prominent player in the labor movement that more than half of New York's 213 state legislators, along with numerous other elected officials, regularly make it a priority to attend their Annual Legislative Breakfast.
