MOXIE - America's Solar Company Announces First-Ever President as Nationwide Growth Continues

Travis Eichelberger to Oversee Sales, Operations, & Customer Service

"I know he is a man of integrity. He's a man who has proven he will always act in the best interest of the company and he's shown that he cares about this company every bit as much as I do."

NORTH LIBERTY, IA, July 16, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MOXIE - America's Solar Company, a leading full-service solar energy contractor for homes, farms, and businesses announced today that Travis Eichelberger has been promoted to President. The monumental announcement came on the heels of five consecutive months of record-setting sales numbers for the rapidly growing Iowa-based company. Eichelberger, who has held many integral roles during his nearly four-year tenure with MOXIE, is the first President in the company's 12-year history.

In 2017, Eichelberger began contributing to the company's explosive growth as Operations Manager for the Eastern Iowa Territory. He soon became Director of Operations and later transitioned to VP of Sales. In this role, Eichelberger personally contributed to sales and customer education efforts while also leading dozens of in-house solar consultants across MOXIE's ever-expanding service areas.

"I've had the honor of working with Travis on and off over the past 12 years," said Jason Hall, MOXIE Founder and CEO. "Travis is an extremely intelligent guy who has a willingness to not just "accept" more work and responsibility but to go looking for it. And when he runs into challenges he's never faced before, he doesn't shy away. He attacks and finds his own answers to problems."

In the past month alone, MOXIE expanded its turnkey solar installation service to six new states including Minnesota, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin, and recorded its largest sales month in company history. All this amidst a global pandemic.

"It's been an honor watching this company evolve from a mere 15 employees when I first started, working just in Iowa, to over 150 team members in 14 states," said Eichelberger. "The strength and passion of everyone on this team makes it all worth it, and I'm proud to be a part of it."

Eichelberger received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa. Before MOXIE, Eichelberger worked as Director of Implementation at a telecommunications company based in Iowa City. It was there that Hall first met Eichelberger and became aware of his "unique calming personality balanced with an intensity and drive that makes complicated things look effortless."

In his new role as MOXIE President, Eichelberger will focus on customer experience, company profitability, and continued growth with the authority to execute as he sees fit across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.

"MOXIE has been my obsession for a decade," said Hall, "and while the thought of sharing the reins of this company with someone else is daunting, to be honest, Travis has already been right there obsessing with me for years. I know he is a man of integrity. He's a man who has proven he will always act in the best interest of the company and he's shown that he cares about this company every bit as much as I do."
