Rena Polite-Griffin Celebrated for Dedication to the Fields of Ministry and Education

Rena Polite-Griffin was recognized for her work in early childhood education and administration featured on a CBS special for her innovative after school program.

    DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD, July 24, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rev. Rena Polite-Griffin, a resident in Allentown, PA and currently residing in District Heights, is included in the Marquis Who's Who. Supported by more than 30 years of clergy experience and nearly 50 years of expertise in early childhood care, Rev. Griffin serves as the founder of Faith Springs Global Ministries, where she provides Christian education and marriage counseling services. She is currently an Executive Director of Healing Hands-Wellness," an independent broker with the Oxzen and 5Linx company. Before and after establishing several ministries, she was called to work as an employment specialist and recruiter for AARP SCSEP. There she provided IEP assessment, resume writing, and casework services for seniors over the age of 55. From 2008 until today, Mrs. Griffin also a consultant after served as a marketing, center, and kindergarten director for the Goddard School of Easton, PA.

Between the late-1970s and late-2000s, Rev. Griffin gained valuable expertise in administration and education as an executive receptionist, office manager, and administrative assistant for Kelly Services, administrator, and acting director for the Quality Time Early Learning Center. Additionally, she has served as a senior teacher and assistant director for Roots Activity Learning Center. Throughout her career, she has also written several books. To wit, Rev. Griffin scribed "Book of Thoughts," "Faith Springs Curriculum Guide," "I Was Born to Dance- an Ethos of a Worshiper," and "When God Trusts You with Pain."

An ordained itinerate elder through the AME Church, with supernumerary status, she serves on the ministerial team at Ward Memorial AME. Rev. Griffin was notably the recipient of the first Faith-Based Initiative Grant at Hunter Memorial. She was also recognized as the first African American and student to attend Washington International College, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in early childcare administration in 1979. She subsequently advanced her studies toward a Master of Arts in religion through the Howard University School of Divinity. Outside of her work, Rev. Griffin has contributed since her teen years through the Washington Urban League as a national youth spokesperson and during her adult life, as a facilitator with the AARP and at various churches- bible study, and a former Director of Christian Education.

In light of her expertise in various fields, Rev. Griffin was recognized for her work in early childhood education and administration featured on a CBS special for her innovative after school program. Looking toward the future, she aims to position herself so that she can contribute further to a worldwide community. Rev. Griffin also aims to preach to a broader audience and complete a Doctor of Religion. Rev. Griffin the recipient and the widow of the late Sgt. Bernard C. Griffin, the only causality of the Persian Gulf Ward in the Nation's Capital in1991 with a military Post named in his honor.
