NEW YORK, NY, July 30, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rx.Health, the digital health company that created the first enterprise-wide EHR-integrated digital formulary, announced today it has partnered with the AGA and Precision Research for the use of the company's TrialEngage™ digital toolkit. This partnership adds to Rx.Health's growing list of registry partners and builds on an existing partnership with AGA to create a nationwide clinical trial network, starting with GI.

TrailEngage extends Rx.Health's offering in clinical engagement to support research engagement in registries, virtual and decentralized trials, care pathways and the collection of real world evidence and digital biomarkers for investigators, Pharma and CROs. It's proven platform has been shown to have a patient activation rate of 92% and a clinician system usability score of 93%.

According to Dr. Gaurav Narang, VP Strategy at Rx.Health, "TrialEngage for patient recruitment and engagement has become even more relevant in the age of COVID-19. Working within the EHR, the TrialEngage platform allows bulk digital prescriptions to be sent to large patient cohorts. This capability was used to outreach one million New Yorkers during COVID crisis and recruit over 55,000 participants. Using text to enroll, bots and no-app televisits makes recruiting and engaging trial participants an automated and hands-off process. It's a pretty unique feature that brings best of clinical outreach and research engagement under one umbrella."

Dr. Chris Fourment, President of Precision Research, a nationwide GI clinical research consortium, echos Dr. Narang's comments, "We believe the TrialEngage platform will help us recruit faster and more efficiently. TrialEngage uses text messaging, bots, videos and other information to allow potential participants to engage in the recruitment and follow up process on their own terms. Rx.Health has a deep clinical background in GI and that is certainly another plus."

Chantal Fremont, DNP, MSN, RN, Vice President of Practice and Quality at the AGA weighed in as well saying, "AGA's mission is to empower clinicians and researchers to improve digestive health. RxHealth and TrialEngage are practical tools that support our work by bringing together the GI community to collaborate on clinical trials that can shape the way we care for patients in the future."
