    BAY CITY, MI, July 30, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Guy Robert Greve, JD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Greve celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Having accrued more than five decades of inimitable experience in the field of legal services, Mr. Greve has garnered a laudable reputation as the sole practitioner of Guy R. Greve, Attorney at Law, since 1978. Specializing in personal injury law, with a concentration in plaintiff personal injury litigation and probate administration, he also boasts extensive expertise in wills and probate, as well as various other general practice matters, family law, divorce, real estate and criminal cases. Mr. Greve formerly contributed for two years as the Bay City attorney and one year as the assistant attorney, beginning in 1975. Additionally, he served as a partner at the firm of Patterson and Greve in Bay City for three years until going into private practice in 1978.

As a highly respected member of his community, Mr. Greve has been active as the president and board director of the Bay Arts Council. He was also active for 25 years on the board of directors and as a past president of the American Cancer Society, served on the board of directors of the Women's Crisis Center, as a volunteer for the United Way, and was a 3-term president of the Muse-Hopper Mobile Museum in Michigan, and served 3 terms as president of the local University of Michigan Alumni Club. He is an honorary life member of Studio 23 - the Arts Center. Among other local activities, Mr. Greve was the vice chairperson, a member of the steering and capital campaign committees and a member of the board of directors of Friends of the State Theatre. Most notably, however, he is a 45-year member of the Bay City Noon Optimist Club, having served in various leadership capacities at the state and local levels, including assistant governor; and founded and has served as the only chairman for 27 years of its Travel and Adventure Cinema Series, which has raised over $250,000.00 for area youth projects. Mr. Greve is also responsible for establishing the Rita Greve Fund for Art in Public Places at the Bay Area Community Foundation. Created to honor his mother, who was a talented artist and sculptor, it was established as a funding vehicle for permanent art installations in public places.

When Mr. Greve is not busy representing clients or serving community organizations, he can be found taking photos. An accomplished photographer, his work has been featured on numerous occasions at various local exhibitions. He has attended workshops by some of the world's greatest photographers. Mr. Greve also had the good fortune to inspire and co-chair the local Day in the Life of Bay County Photo Project in 2000, which he recalls fondly.

Born and raised in Bay City, Mr. Greve studied locally, acquiring a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the University of Michigan in 1970. He then completed postgraduate course work in law at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England, during 1974 before attaining a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Detroit College of Law in1975. Since concluding his academic efforts, Mr. Greve has been admitted to practice law by the Michigan Bar Association and the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Michigan.

Aligned with several significant professional organizations in relation to his career, Mr. Greve most notably served as a past president, a member of the board of directors, editor of Bay Bar Briefs, and the Liberty Bell chairperson of the Bay County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (past), the American Bar Association, the Michigan Association for Justice as a sustaining member, and has served on the representative assembly for the Michigan Bar Association. Mr. Greve has also been affiliated with several other professional organizations such as the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce; the America's Boating Club of Saginaw Bay, a chapter of the U.S. Power Squadron, having served 2 terms as commander; and is the fleet captain of the Saginaw Bay Yacht Club.

Mr. Greve received the Distinguished Service Award from the Bay City Jaycees in 1981 and was later named as a Distinguished Alumnus of Handy High School in 1985. Likewise, he was bestowed with a Key to the City of Bay City in 2013. In recognition of his legal career, Mr. Greve has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100. A celebrated Marquis listee, he has been featured in the 52nd through 63rd editions of Who's Who in America, as well as numerous editions of Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
