An accomplished listee, Dr. Bizzi celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Bizzi is a neuropsychologist and educator with more than 60 years of accomplishments. A graduate of the Sapienza University of Rome, he obtained a Doctor of Medicine, summa cum laude, in 1958. During his time in school, he developed an interest in the pathology of neurological diseases, and pursued postdoctoral coursework at the Institute of Medical Pathology at the University of Siena in Italy from 1958 to 1960 and at the Institute of Physiology of the University of Pisa from 1960 to 1963. A research associate in the neurophysiological laboratory of the department of zoology at Washington University in St. Louis from 1963 to 1964, Dr. Bizzi became a visiting associate in the laboratory of clinical science at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland, from 1964 to 1966.
