"With our breakthrough technology, Taylor Garrett can get our high-quality, artisanally-crafted spirits to whiskey lovers -- without having to wait for it to sit around in a barrel for years."
ALBUQUERQUE, NM, September 17, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Taylor Garrett Rye is the bold and rugged sibling of the breakthrough bourbon-style whiskey released by Taylor Garrett earlier this year. Using time-honored distilling techniques paired with an innovative, all-natural oak aging process, Taylor Garrett has switched up the mash bill to put the spotlight on the spice.
"As a whiskey lover, I am pleased to introduce Taylor Garrett Rye," says Scott Feuille, Founder and Distiller. "Those who love the earthy and spicy character of a rye mash bill won't be disappointed. The whiskey is aged using our proprietary process, and I am thrilled to add it to our line up."
Taylor Garrett Rye shows a strong nose of vanilla, toasted maple and light campfire smoke. On the palate, a hint of sweetness gives way to the complex spiciness that Rye lovers have come to expect. Taylor Garrett's accelerated aging process results in an exceptionally smooth finish which lingers pleasantly in anticipation of the next sip. The Rye is best enjoyed neat, over a large ice cube or in a whiskey forward cocktail like a Manhattan or Vieux Carré.
"Traditional aging means that distillers have to wait years to get their carefully crafted spirits into the hands of the people that enjoy them," says Feuille. "This is expensive and can be very frustrating for new distillers, often leading them to bottle someone else's product while waiting for their own to mature. With our breakthrough technology, Taylor Garrett can get our high-quality, artisanally-crafted spirits where they belong -- in the glasses of whiskey lovers -- without having to wait for it to sit around in a barrel for years."
Taylor Garrett spirits is a veteran-owned company located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded by Scott Feuille, a retired Naval Aviator and commercial airline pilot. Having traveled the globe and tasted some of the finest spirits the world has to offer, he's always been fascinated by the skill and traditions of the Great American Distiller. With a passion for distilling and in pursuit of the perfect timeless spirit, Scott began his quest to craft the best tasting, no-nonsense whiskey on the market today.
"I started Taylor Garrett because I love the idea of providing quality, hand-crafted spirits that people can enjoy. As many of my favorite whiskeys have become harder to find and much more expensive, I thought there had to be a better way."
