After serving in the Army, she channeled her extensive ammunitions expertise into working as a quality assurance ammunitions inspector for various organizations, including the Defense Ammunition Center and the Defense Contract Management Agency. As an industrial specialist, she monitors the missile sector and performs industrial based assessments keeping senior leadership in the defense sector abreast of current trends. Backed by her extensive expertise, she represents the Defense Contract Management Office at briefings and meetings with outside government entities.
Over the years, Ms. Pearson has also parlayed her considerable knowledge to Northrop Grumman as a logistics analyst, Kellogg Brown & Root in Iraq and through the Office of Fraud Prevention Programs/Analysis & Training Division in Washington, D.C. Throughout her storied career, she has contributed to several notable programs and workshops for the Defense Contract Management Agency, including a technical workshop for all Eastern Europe Defense Contract Management Team Offices. She also achieved DAWIA Level II Certification in 14 months, as opposed to the 24 months it normally takes, and has been consistently nominated as Employee of the Quarter. Despite her myriad accomplishments in the field, she is especially proud of completing the Executive Leadership program while fulfilling her regular duties.
An expert in her field, Ms. Pearson holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Psychology and completed additional job training in program management, the fundamentals of geometric dimensioning, auditing and quality assurance. She retains professional alignment with Disabled American Veterans and the American Society for Quality.
