Alejandro Cano: Celebrated for Exemplary Dedication, Excelling in, and Innovating, the Continuous Improvement Field

    DALLAS, TX, September 28, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alejandro Cano has been included in Marquis Who's Who. With more than 20 years of professional excellence to his credit, Mr. Cano serves as the founder and chief executive officer of Alex Cano Consulting and Coaching, which he established in 2020. In this capacity, using his signature methodology Agile Change Lean Sigma 5.0, he advises and mentors his client base in a variety of services including: building integrated continuous improvement systems, revamping continuous improvement systems, and strategic planning, to name a few. Mr. Cano has been additionally active as an operational excellence manager for Hitachi High Technologies of America in Irving, Texas, since 2019. Moreover, he has worked as the senior manager and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with Safran Seats USA from 2018 to 2019, as well as a continuous improvement manager and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt for Borealis between 2017 and 2018. Mr. Cano further flourished in a number of positions with Albéa for over a decade, including as a supply chain project manager from 2014 until 2017, a global project manager between 2012 and 2014, a black belt manager from 2010 to 2012, an environmental health and safety regional manager from 2006 until 2010, and environmental health and safety manager from 2005 to 2006.

Mr. Cano began his career as a production supervisor with DuPont in Altamira, Mexico, from 1997 to 1998. He subsequently served with CEMEX in multiple capacities, such as a process engineer in the High Potential Professionals Program, named new talent development program between 1998 and 2000, a quality systems and environmental coordinator from 2000 until 2002, a member of the International Management Development Program between 2002 and 2003, and both a quality environmental and interim operations manager from 2003 to 2004. Furthermore, Mr. Cano provided his wealth of knowledge as a consultant on continuous improvement and quality projects and as a professor at the Tecnologico de Monterrey from 2004 until 2005.

Mr. Cano created the Agile Change Lean Sigma 5.0 ™ methodology, which is the only integrated continuous improvement methodology in the world that integrates 5 areas of expertise: Lean Sigma, Change Management, Agile Planning, Project Management and Organizational Psychology. It is a holistic approach to boost performance and drive agile sustainable improvements while creating an environment where people feel motivated, and embrace change.

Prior to embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Cano pursued a formal education at the Tecnologico de Monterrey, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical and systems engineering in 1996. He continued his studies at the aforementioned university with a Master of Business Administration. Mr. Cano concluded his academic efforts at the Universidad de las Americas in 2013, graduating with a Master of Science in organizational psychology, cum laude.

Mr. Cano's international experience includes being an ExPat twice, first at Spain and the second time in the USA.

In addition to these accomplishments, Mr. Cano has received myriad certifications in diverse fields. He is certified by the Center for Coaching Certification as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), The Society of NLP as a Licensed Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, the American Union of NLP as a Certified Life Coach, Northwestern Kellogg University in Strategic Change Management, Bureau Veritas as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Master, and Scrum Study in Scrum Fundamentals. Mr. Cano is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and received Operational Excellence & a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from the University of Texas at Austin & Smarter Solutions, and a Yellow Belt and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Albea. He is an OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor through UL and a Six Sigma Black Belt through Tecnologico de Monterrey & BMG. He completed Lean manufacturing from Manufacturing training & development, a Green Belt from Alcan, certification in ISO 14001-OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor through ERM, certification as an Operational Excellence Auditor and Quality Auditor through Cemex, and lastly an ISO 9000 Lead Auditor through SGS.

Mr. Cano has notably participated in numerous endeavors beyond his primary responsibilities. In regards to his volunteering experience, he contributed to the Saints Philip and James Church as a Hispanic ministry coordinator from 2011 to 2017 and a church committee member from 2011 to 2015. He had also maintained his involvement with Saint Francis of Asissi Church as a volunteer since 2019. Mr. Cano had formerly found success as a trainer in marriage preparation with the Diocese of Metuchen from 2013 to 2018. He is a proud supporter of World Vision.

Mr. Cano has led many different organizations to achieve a wide variety of certifications and awards including: National Award for Safety at Work from IMSS, Clean Industry from PROFEPA, OSHA VPP from OSHA and ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 from UL, Supplier Quality Certification from Johnson & Johnson, and Supplier Quality Certification from Estee Lauder. Additionally, SA8000 and ISO 9001 from Bureau Veritas, API Spec 10 from API, NMX 17025 from EMA, and ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 from SGS.

Having always harbored a desire to help people solve their problems and improve their careers through consulting and coaching Mr. Cano has coached professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds, business areas and industries. He has led and coached over 200 improvement projects serving 12 different industries including chemical, automotive, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, energy and cement.
