FORT WORTH, TX, October 13, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nancy Lynn Palmarchuk has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Growing up, Nancy Lynn Palmarchuk loved school and learning about history. She always wanted to become a teacher in order to instill the same love of history in her students. Her father was in the Air Force, and she was able to travel to all of the places he was stationed in Europe. She enjoyed learning about the history of the continent and hearing her father's stories about historic wars and battles. Nancy's favorite thing to teach is US History, most importantly, the Constitutional Era.
After 37 years of making an impact in students' lives, Ms. Palmarchuk has received much recognition for her work. She received the Mirabeau Lamar Educator Award, the Texas Council for the Social Studies Betty Barringer Award, and she was named Teacher of the Year at Springtown Middle School. Most notably, she was named the Gilder Lehrman National History Teacher of the Year for the state of Texas in 2019. In her current position, Ms. Palmarchuk is proud to teach students about the history of America and other important historical lessons. Over the years, she has attributed her success to her mother, who always inspired her and showed her that teachers are important and crucial in students' lives. Looking toward the future, Ms. Palmarchuk hopes to continue inspiring teachers to share their love for education. She wants to continue making students excited to come to class.
