Mr. Catuogno is an entrepreneur with more than 15 years of excellence in custom events planning and production. Naturally outgoing and gifted as a performer, he began serving as a disc jockey for local events in the early 2000s, and began his business journey in 2003 with the establishment of DJMark Events. Mr. Catuogno continued to run DJMark Events until 2018, when he decided to branch out, focusing on the planning and design aspects of events management instead of performing.
After a year as the director of operations for Propelify, Mr. Catuogno opened MC Event Consulting, an event planning service providing clients with the vendors, coordination and management expertise required to present a world-class gathering of any size. Building upon his logistics knowledge and network of industry connections, he expanded to include travel coordination with MC Travel Management in 2019, and MC Virtual Events in 2020, in response to the growing demand for stylish and cost-effective remote meeting options. Mr. Catuogno's portfolio of clients includes high-profile Fortune 500 companies, and he hopes to expand operations and expand their international consulting services in the coming years.
Mr. Catuogno holds a Bachelor of Arts in management information systems from Iona College and is currently completing coursework for a Master of Science in emergency disaster management and homeland security through the American Military University. He attributes his success to his education and to the strong work ethic that his parents instilled in him at an early age. Mr. Catuogno is the founder and president of the With Ribbons We Fight Foundation, a nonprofit support network for New York area cancer patients. Likewise, in addition to sitting on the board for the Search Foundation to assist event, meetings and catering professionals faced with a life threatening illness. Since that time it has expanded to include not only illness but also catastrophic occurrences, he is the recipient of an ILEA Rising Star Award 2020, was named as one of the Top 25 Young Event Professionals of 2020 by Special Events and by BizBash #500 one of the United States' most influential event professionals of 2020.
