The Cliff Wheeler Band Releases New Single, "Trouble Is"

    LEMON SPRINGS, NC, November 02, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Southern rock and blues group, The Cliff Wheeler Band, is releasing their new single, "Trouble Is", globally via Indie on Air Records with distribution through White Lion Audio and Sony Orchard.

The song opens with laid-back guitar work that will immediately bring to mind visions of open roads and crimson sunsets. Cliff's unique voice enters the mix and is a perfect combination of old fashioned country and blues soulfulness that carries the track throughout. The band does a phenomenal job of moving with the ebb and flow of the rhythm and lyrics while remaining true to the southern rock genre. There are moments where the lead guitar shines brightly and others where the bassline takes prominence, yet the band moves the music forward as one. With "Trouble Is", The Cliff Wheeler Band has done a masterful job of creating a complete musical experience that is worthy of road warriors everywhere.

The Cliff Wheeler Band came together in 2017 to record some tunes Cliff had written. Once the album "Wheeler" was complete, the band featuring Cliff Wheeler – guitar and vocals, Gary Orlando – guitar, Garret Wheeler – bass, and Johnny Handy – Drums, decided to stick together to do some live performances. Debuting in Nashville, TN at The Local, the band's live shows began garnering attention from music industry insiders and other artists. Their songs soon began hitting Indie Charts in the US and abroad with numerous awards to follow including Cumulus Media's 2017 "Nash Next" North Carolina winner; Music Mafia Radio's 2017 Artist of the Year First Runner Up and nominations for four Nashville Universe Awards in 2018 including Rising Star and Songwriter of the Year.

This year the band was also won Entertainer of the Year (Gold) at the 2020 ISAA Awards. "The awards were a bit different this year due to the pandemic," says bandleader and lead singer Cliff Wheeler, but we were truly honored for the award. Based out of the small town of Lemon Springs, NC, the CWB continues to tour and write in preparation for a post-COVID world where touring and performing will, once again, be a possibility.
