Recognized Institutions Partner to Provide Qualified Students with a Pathway to Medical School



    ROSWELL, GA, November 04, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Trinity School of Medicine today announced a new partnership with University System of Georgia institution, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. This partnership will create a guaranteed pathway to an accredited medical school for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) students seeking to become physicians.

Trinity School of Medicine President and CEO Steve Wilson says, "We are pleased to announce our recent partnership with Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College. This new partnership will help students in The Pre-professional track become practicing physicians, Together, we have developed a streamlined admissions process with automatic acceptance for ABAC students who meet the minimum required standards. Our partnership provides a clear path for ABAC students to achieve a challenging goal. It also provides a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable hands on global healthcare experience," added Mr. Wilson.

"ABAC students have been experiencing great success in graduate and professional programs. We are very excited about this new agreement with Trinity School of Medicine, which will help further enhance the post-graduation outcomes for ABAC students by helping open the door for students who aspire to become practicing physicians," says Dr. Matthew Anderson, Dean of ABAC's School of Arts and Sciences. "Rural areas in particular are facing a physician shortage. This new agreement will position qualified graduates from ABAC's Biology B.S., Pre-professional track to possibly help satisfy this need."
