Mr. Sullens is a successful business leader who currently serves as a co-general manager for RaceTrac north of Atlanta, a premier gas station with locations throughout the southern portion of the United States. His distinguished record of leadership in management has enabled him to continuously grow with the organization, and he is now able to lead and mentor employees, while also setting an example that represents the company's core values. After graduating from high school in 2002, Mr. Sullens was initially recruited as a male model and actor, whereupon he had the opportunity to travel and learn more about the industry. However, he quickly realized that the industry did not offer the opportunities he wished to leverage in life. He subsequently transitioned into mixed martial arts (MMA), learning, and later teaching, the sport as an instructor between 2005 and 2008. He felt he had found his calling and set his sights on becoming a World Heavyweight Champion in MMA.
After the accident that took him nearly five years to recover, Mr. Sullens was unable to continue his profession as an MMA athlete, and therefore, began to look for new ventures. It was during these trying times that he began his career in retail management in 2013. He also became a professional powerlifter in 2016, which has enabled him to work toward healing his body and establishing his goal of becoming a world champion powerlifter. One of his other goals notably includes creating a larger audience through fitness and nutrition, particularly with the younger generation.
In recognition of his accomplishments in retail, Mr. Sullens received a Five-Year Award from RaceTrac in 2018. His personal endurance was tested throughout the following year with rare neurological challenges. He attributes his immense success to his ability to persevere and exude strength throughout all obstacles, as well as the support from his community. Looking toward the future, he intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career as he works to become General Manager while upholding his high standards in powerlifting.
