Safety continues to be the top priority here at The Treasury on the Plaza
JACKSONVILLE, FL, November 14, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Since the State of Florida entered Phase 3 of Re-Opening from the COVID-19 pandemic, the local wedding industry is staying ahead of the curve by instituting necessary precautions to keep couples and guests safe during one of life's most memorable moments. And The Treasury on the Plaza, downtown St. Augustine's premier historic wedding venue, is at the forefront.
"Safety continues to be the top priority here at The Treasury on the Plaza," said Brandy Boulette, Director of Operations for The Treasury on the Plaza. "With Phase 3 of Re-Opening, businesses are now able to operate at full capacity. For us, we can continue to host in-person meetings, in-person tours, and all of our weddings and events. It's of the utmost importance to our management and staff that we take every precaution available to us."
With guest's health and safety being of top priority, the wedding venue has implemented various safety procedures including, disinfecting the venue upon opening with a fogger machine to reduce the number of airborne microorganisms while also applying disinfectant to all surfaces. The venue has also invested in and installed a state-of-the-art ventilation system, Air Scrubber by Aerus, which destroys over 99 percent of airborne and surface contaminants.
"On event days, we require our team members and all vendors to wear face masks," explained Boulette. "We have also partnered with Automated Custom Guidelines to create custom lists for sanitizing high-traffic surface areas. A team member will disinfect the high-traffic areas every 45 minutes for optimal safety, while hand sanitizing stations have also been installed throughout the building for guests to use."
The Treasury on the Plaza, considered the jewel of St. Augustine wedding venues, is dedicated to providing couples with an unforgettable experience while also keeping themselves and their guests safe. The venue will continue to monitor all state and local guidelines to ensure its guests and team members' health and safety.
