IFPG Announces Plans for Franchise Summit

    PARLIN, NJ, December 06, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG) recently announced plans for a Franchise Summit to be held virtually on March 22, 23 and 24. The event, which will include panel discussions and small group breakout sessions, has been scheduled in response to member demand.

After the success of the broker network's first-ever Virtual Retreat held October 2020, IFPG's team decided to continue offering similar events. "Our Virtual Retreat surpassed everyone's expectations," says IFPG President Red Boswell, who hosted the event. "In normal times, we thrive on in-person events, but the pandemic forced us to pivot and the event proved to be extremely valuable for our members," he says.

IFPG Founder, Don Daszkowski says that the Virtual Summit will include a mix of education and networking, but points out that it was much more than the format that made the October event so successful. He says it's the people. "Our members are extremely engaged and passionate about franchising, we are like a large family. The Virtual Retreat was really special. Everyone was so happy to be together and talk franchising, learning and getting to know each other more," Daszkowski adds. "The feedback was tremendous."

Despite the pandemic, 2020 has been an exceptional year for the broker network. "The pandemic forced us to innovate, which has only made IFPG stronger," says Daszkowski. In addition, he says that IFPG's recognition as Entrepreneur magazine's leading broker network has fueled his team. "We are raring to go. Once restrictions are lifted, our in-person events will be even more impactful and enjoyable" he says. On the 2021 calendar, IFPG has a number of in-person events planned including the IFPG's signature Annual Retreat scheduled for October 4-6 as well as a number of more intimate, regional mixers.
