Prior to his involvement with the family business, Mr. Wirtz served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy between 1987 and 1991. The highlight of his career thus far has been supervising all business and department heads for North American interests for REP Corporation. Outside of his primary responsibilities, Mr. Wirtz has been professionally affiliated with the Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers, participates on the board of his local bank and supports Safe Harbor, which investigates and cares for abused children.
An expert in his field, Mr. Wirtz education encompasses his studies and vast training within the US Navy, Central Michigan University, various technical institutions and worldwide projects.
