Attributing his success to his active involvement and devotion to his work as well as his passion, Mr. Moon became involved in his industry due to his desire to contribute to the efficiency of administrative affairs and national development in the 1970s, during which time the government of South Korea was strongly promoting administrative computerization as to bolster their economic development. Witnessing the increase of transparency on a national and societal level firsthand, he cites his promotion of the first two national plans for the computerization of administration and the implementation of the national basic information system as the highlights of his storied career.
