Although his career is still on the rise, he was incredibly proud to receive his first decision in an appellate case involving medical malpractice and negligence.
ISLANDIA, NY, January 14, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Schultz has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
A practiced personal injury attorney, Mr. Schultz excels as an associate attorney with Davis & Ferber LLP, with which he specializes in personal injury law as well as appeals. Prior to his current role, he worked as an associate attorney for Dell & Dean PLLC between 2015 and 2019. During the early years of his career, Mr. Schultz gained valuable expertise, specifically in legal research, through several internships with the Kings County District Attorney's Office and the Nassau County District Attorney's Office.
In his youth, Mr. Schultz decided that he wanted to become an attorney after watching a number of different legal shows, which piqued his interest and guided him as a result. In 2012, he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Wagner College. He subsequently graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the School of Law at Saint John's University. Mr. Schultz remains aware of ongoing changes in law through his affiliations with the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
While pursuing internships at the beginning of his career, Mr. Schultz also served as a volunteer steering committee member with the Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office Project. For two years, he helped establish the Staten Island chapter of the aforementioned organization, which provided legal advice to low-income individuals being sued by debt collectors. Although his career is still on the rise, he was incredibly proud to receive his first decision in an appellate case involving medical malpractice and negligence. In the coming years, Mr. Schultz aims to establish himself as one of the top appellate attorneys in the state and eventually represent cases before the N.Y. Court of Appeals and, hopefully one day, the Supreme Court of the United States.
