Praxis Mutual Funds Releases Praxis Real Impact 2020 Report

Inaugural report demonstrates how unique stewardship investing philosophy delivers real-world change

"This report stands as a testament to how proud we are to partner with our clients to integrate faith, values and investing," said Praxis Vice President of Stewardship Investing Mark Regier.

GOSHEN, IN, January 27, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Praxis Mutual Funds®, a leading faith-based, socially responsible family of mutual funds from Everence Financial®, today released Praxis Real Impact 2020, a report that seeks to communicate the many ways Praxis' unique Stewardship Investing philosophy delivers real-world change through a range of impact strategies.

The impact report is the first report of its kind for Praxis Mutual Funds and describes the firm's longstanding commitment to impact investing. While the report mainly focuses on impact generated in 2019, it laid the foundation for Praxis to respond to the unprecedented social and environmental challenges of 2020.

Highlights

• A look at how the Praxis Impact Bond Fund seeks to beat its index, the Bloomberg Barclays Aggregate Index, while also investing over 30% of its assets to support the climate and communities through positive impact bonds.
• A comparison of Praxis Mutual Funds' alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across six impact strategies.
• A focus on critical issues such as climate change, human rights standards, board diversity, and private prison financing, among other issues Praxis has addressed with companies through shareholder advocacy.
• A description of Praxis' historic community investing work. For over 20 years, Praxis has channeled about 1% of each mutual fund into "deep social-impact" investments that bring direct benefits to low-income and underserved communities around the world.

Said Praxis Mutual Funds President Chad Horning, CFA®, "At Praxis, we believe it is important to deliver social and environmental impact, in as many forms as possible, along with consistent, competitive financial performance to the families and institutions who rely on us to help provide for their futures. We are pleased to offer this impact report as one more demonstration of our commitment to this objective."

"This report stands as a testament to how proud we are to partner with our clients to integrate faith, values and investing," said Praxis Vice President of Stewardship Investing Mark Regier. "It is our shared values and vision and the difference we can make together that provide the inspiration for our work."
