SALT LAKE CITY, UT, February 04, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As COVID-19 vaccines become increasingly available, Alsco Uniforms remains committed to working closely with public health agencies in facilitating the vaccination of our employees. We understand and embrace the responsibility we have in fostering trust in the safety of the vaccination process. We recognize that the decision to receive the COVID-19 vaccine comes down to personal choice. Although we are not requiring our employees to be vaccinated, we are strongly encouraging every employee to receive the vaccine. Hourly employees will receive paid time off to be vaccinated.

In addressing the continued importance of vigilance, John Jaggi, Alsco's director of HR & Administration, said, "In addition to our belief that the vaccine is an important tool in slowing the spread of COVID-19, we remain committed to other prudent measures that limit the spread of COVID-19, including daily disinfecting of delivery trucks, wearing face coverings, practicing social distancing and encouraging good hygiene practices. We are also proud to be considered an essential service and appreciate the key role we play in providing PPE and hospital-grade clean uniforms to healthcare workers, first responders and other essential service workers."

From day one of the COVID-19 lockdowns, Alsco Uniforms has been deemed an essential service. Our uniform and linen laundry services are vital to the operation of restaurants, healthcare facilities and industrial businesses. The hospital-grade clean linen, uniforms and cleaning supplies we produce are critical to keeping businesses open and safe. Promoting the vaccine with compensation will not only keep our employees healthy but also keep our customers and their guests healthy.
