Mr. Zehnder is an esteemed parks and recreation professional celebrating a career of dedication to helping cities and counties develop, honor, and promote their open spaces and natural areas. His passion for parks development emerged from maintaining parks facilities for the city of Cleveland, Ohio Metroparks in the late 1960s. After recognizing that helping residents connect with their cities through beautiful and accessible parks and facilities was his calling, Mr. Zehnder graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in recreation and parks administration before earning his certification as a parks and recreation professional via the National Recreation and Parks Association.
