In her work with Dominion, she creates documents displaying renewable energy resources for company-wide use, researches legal issues concerning employment, and tracks COVID-19 data and trends to inform executives on return to work strategies. Additionally, she oversaw the public policy team regarding a wide range of projects, including the 2020 Sustainability Report, and tracked legislation in Maryland during the 2020 and 2021 legislative sessions. Prior to obtaining her current positions, Ms. Bailey honed her expertise as a medical researcher for the University of Connecticut and as a therapeutic consultant and behavior support specialist with the Council of the Southern Mountains. During the earliest stages of her career, she also held positions with Maximus and West Virginia University. Though her career has been suffused with highlights, Ms. Bailey is especially proud to have leveraged her mental health counseling degree toward being published in many medical publications, which is an honor that few lawyers receive.
An expert in her field, Ms. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Concord University, a master's degree in community counseling from West Virginia University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the William & Mary School of Law. Likewise, she interned for Ruby Memorial Hospital, Disability Law Center of Virginia, United States Department of Justice, and Navistar Inc. Driven to remain aware of changes in the field, she is affiliated with the American Bar Association. In conjunction with her work, she frequently speaks on the subject of disability rights and the importance of including people with disabilities in employment. For her professional excellence, she has been honored on several occasions, earning a listing in Who's Who in High School and receiving a Law School Operations Scholarship through William & Mary Law School.
