Long dedicated to the field of business, investments and entrepreneurship, Ms. AlAmodi initially began her career as the founder of Waadi Corporation a technology service company, which she build from ground up, after which she served in multiple roles as, as the Chief Project Officer with the Teqlogica Corporation, the Chicago Transit Authority. She taught finance, investment and project management at the College Preparatory School of America and the Anita Borg Institute. Presently, Ms. AlAmodi excels as a PMP and Agile certification lecturer at Grey Campus Incorporated, and as the chief executive officer and chairperson of Al Amodi Avenues Ltd, which is an e-learning expert in entrepreneurship, funding and project management courses, besides working at her passion, as a real estate and securities investor.
Outside of her primary vocational circles, Ms. AlAmodi serves as an academic outreach committee member of the Chicagoland chapter of the Project Management Institute, as a funding and entrepreneurship Instructor & mentor at 1871, a technology incubator in Chicago. As a dedicated entrepreneur, she sits on the boards of several organizations including RedPerit in USA, Comfort Homes Builders Ltd in India, Vivacity Global in Nigeria and The Startup Council, a technology incubator in USA, where she is also the co-founder. Civically, Ms. AlAmodi volunteers her time with KCG Capital, the Investment Discussion Group, the Diverse Director Data Source and the Taproot Foundation.
Throughout the course of her career, Ms. AlAmodi has accomplished many milestones in her field. Well regarded for her exemplary performance, she was most recently a presenter at the annual 2020 Women on Boards campaign, through which she presented research on the subject of board diversity at public and private companies. Ms. AlAmodi previously spoke at Bringing Women to the Table event for the ALMPG Group, served as a keynote speaker at the Illinois Institute of Technology's cyber security conference and was a panelist for the Leaders in Technology conference at the Anita Borg Institute and presented at Northern Illinois University, Loyola University, among others.
Ms. AlAmodi received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the ICFAI University in India. She is also certified in Scrum and as a project management professional. Well regarded for her scholarly output, many of her articles have been featured in industry publications, as well as on such websites as NEDonBoard, The Smart City Magazine, Medium and LinkedIn. Much of her research has centered on the subjects of investment, economy, entrepreneurship, project management skills for entrepreneurs and modern technology. In recognition of her talents, Ms. AlAmodi was featured among the Top 100 in Finance by Top 100 Magazine, named on the list of top 'Director to Watch' by the Private Directors Association and as a Global Goodwill Ambassador with the title of "Author of Diversity" by the GGA Organization.
