After earning a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island, Mr. Goldberg began his career with an internship at Northwell Health, during which time he became inspired by their passion and commitment to patients. He subsequently obtained a Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University and a Master of Health Care Delivery Science from Dartmouth College. Mr. Goldberg began his career in finance then later found success with Northwell Health's Long Island Jewish Medical Center, for which he served as the chief financial officer before advancing into his current role as the executive director.
In his present position, Mr. Goldberg is responsible for all activities at the aforementioned hospital. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was notably tasked with leading the country's first most impacted hospital at the beginning of the pandemic. He additionally works as a professor of health professions at Hofstra University. Over the years, Mr. Goldberg has attributed his professional success to his two mentors: Robert Shapiro, who was the former chief financial officer of Northwell Health, and Chantal Weinhold, who was his predecessor at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
As an accomplished professional, Mr. Goldberg was recognized among the Top 50 People in Queens, as well as the Man of the Year by Achiezer. As a testament to his professional prowess, he is also distinguished as a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
