Agri Terra Group provides an update on Ecovita Country Club

At the end of 2019, Agri Terra Group announced plans to return to its roots in the real estate business with its then latest project: the EcoVita Country Club

ASUNCIÓN, PARAGUAY, April 09, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The American-style residential and recreational development is currently under construction on an area of approximately 90 hectares (223 acres) just outside Paraguay's capital Asunción. In the embedded club area, which covers approximately 25 hectares (62 acres), members may choose from a variety of 116 sports and leisure activities. The remaining 65 hectares (161 acres) provide space for 427 residential plots. The first dozen country side homes are about to break ground soon. Even though the Country Club was initially designed to provide a weekend retreat or vacation home, a surprisingly high portion of buyers is choosing EcoVita to be the first (and often only) residence. The location is highly convenient for commuters who work in the near-by newly formed industrial district outside Asunción, and especially families with children appreciate the high level of security a private Club provides. Needless to say that parents and children alike benefit from the abundant variety of sports, leisure activities and entertainment. In addition to a large lagoon with embedded natural stone swimming pools at the center of the Club, members and residents look forward to enjoy a professional horseback riding facility, tennis courts, soccer, basketball and volleyball fields, among others. Excepting only winter sports, the developers considered each and every option to enhance people´s leisure time experience. However, the absolute highlight will be without a doubt the huge waterfall, which the company plans to extract from a former quarry, that will expand over 120 meters (almost 400 ft).

Plot sales exceed the important 70 percent mark

The EcoVita Country Club has been met with great interest and enthusiasm in Paraguay and abroad. Even before the official start of marketing, order books filled up in no time, driven by word of mouth. Now EcoVita plot sales have surpassed the important 70 percent mark. Accompanied by commercials performed by international soccer superstar Roque Santa Cruz (the former Paraguayan national striker who won the Champion´s League title with Bayern Munich), the project is set to be sold out soon. Development and construction started last year under the impression of the Covid crisis, and Agri Terra expects Section I to be completed towards the end of the current year. Just recently, the company confirmed a deal under which Paraguays largest internet provider TIGO will extend its fibre optics high-speed internet network to the Club area, an important selling point in rural Paraguay.

People who could not secure a residential plot upon the final bell ringing, may still be able to benefit from the Club. "As a non-resident, you may choose to acquire a club membership, which is especially interesting for people that already live in the neighborhood" explains Agri Terra CEO Carsten Pfau in an interview. Country clubs with a "members only" concept are very popular throughout the Americas, and the basic principle is widespread in Paraguay. The Munich-based company even sees further growth potential in this field – a second EcoVita park project in a different location is already being discussed.
