Express Entry Q1 2021 Report: Numbers Released for Q1 2021 show Canada Has Set Another Record

Recently released report outlining immigration for this year shows that In Q1 of 2021 Canada reached another historic milestone.



    PRINCE GEORGE, BC, April 10, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- By issuing a total number of 44,124 invitations to immigration candidates. This has been the largest quarter since the launch of the Express Entry program in 2015.

The initial immigration targets set out by Canada for 2020-2022 were not met due to the ongoing challenges presented by the pandemic. As a result, the federal government unveiled a very ambitious and aggressive Immigration Levels Plan for 2021-2023 outlining their desire and intention to welcome over 1.2 million newcomers into the country by 2023.

The goal for 2021 is to welcome 401,000 newcomers.
