Provinces Continue Holding Regular Provincial Nominee Program Draws

Invitations are being issued at a regular rate to immigration candidates by provinces through Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws.

PRINCE GEORGE, BC, April 22, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia all held PNP draws the week of April 5, 2021. The three provinces invited a total of 602 candidates to apply for their provincial nomination. If these candidates are successful in receiving the nomination, they will likely be selected during Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada's next round of invitations.

Each of these draws is helping Canada inch steadily towards meeting its goal to welcome 401,000 newcomers into the country in 2021.

What to except for the rest of the year?

Editor-in-Chief of CICWeekly.com, Rebecca Morin has a rich and personal understanding of the Canadian immigration process. She knows your time is valuable and she wants to provide you (the readers) with informative, quality content and the most efficient pathways to make your dreams come true.

As Canada looks at its post-pandemic recovery, Rebecca says "It's clear that the provinces and the federal government will be working hard to welcome as many newcomers as they can in the coming months. Especially as the country looks at economic growth after COVID."

Rebecca believes the time to apply for Canadian immigration is now and anyone who has been interested in settling in Canada, "should strike while the iron is hot."

It's no secret that the pandemic has had a significant and negative effect on the country's economy and the provinces are keen to welcome immigrants with the right skills and educational background who can contribute to the province's economic growth.

Each province is responsible for its own vaccine rollout plan and after a slightly shaky start, the ball is rolling smoothly. As of April 9, 2021, approximately 15.22% of the population (around 5.8 million people) in Canada has received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Millions of doses are expected to be coming into the country in the following weeks and months and Trudeau expects every Canadian who wants to be vaccinated will be able to do so by September 2021.

In the midst of the crisis, Canada is working hard to welcome as many immigrants as it can. Draws are happening weekly and new programs are being unveiled.
