An accomplished listee, Ms. Munnerlyn celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Munnerlyn is a holistic herbalist who has devoted her career to helping clients find natural remedies to care for their body's ailments. In her role, she teaches individuals on best practices in nutrition and gives advice on the usage of various herbal products. Notably, herbalism is a practice that uses medicinal plants as a basis of traditional medicine.

Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Munnerlyn has worked closely with seriously ill patients, including those living with AIDS, heart conditions and other major illnesses. Dedicating her life to the practice of holistic medicine on a pro bono basis, she has helped hundreds of people heal their bodies. In addition to practicing herbalism, Ms. Munnerlyn has hosted various seminars. She has also become a published author, contributing various literary works and book chapters, including a chapter about her 37-year-old daughter, who lives with a mental disability. Her portfolio of work also includes directing, translating and serving as a researcher for a play in 1987 about the Puerto Rican culture.

While coming of age, Ms. Munnerlyn's grandmother often concocted a variety of herbal medicines for her family to treat common sicknesses. Likewise, her grandmother and mother were both midwives by profession. After completing high school, Ms. Munnerlyn completed Lafayette Academy coursework from home in 1973 and received a certificate from the Albert Merrill School in New York City in 1977.

In accounting for her standout success, Ms. Munnerlyn credits her early exposure to children's literature.
