ROME, GA, June 21, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The people of Georgia are set for another amazing weekend of fun, excitement, hot rides, and community development as Camp Bohdi Inc is set to host the Eco Over Ego Food and Music Festival at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds on Labor Day weekend Sept 4-5, 2021.

During a time of trial and hardships, we are thankful we had a group of organizations around the United States making sure the people in there communities had something in forms of supplemental support when it came to food. One of those special organizations is Camp Bohdi Inc.. Since February 2021 alone Camp Bohdi Inc, ran by CEO & President Twyla Jackson, has distributed over 15,000 Farmers to Families Food boxes in the Floyd County & Polk County Area. The organization is hosting their 1st Annual Fundraising event. The theme is Sustainable Living Awareness. The organization plans to use the funds raised to build a hydroponic garden to continue their efforts in helping supplement families during these trying times. The sustainable living focused organization will also use proceeds to further their efforts to build an Ecovillage in Floyd County scheduled for building in 2022.

The Event will feature all genres of music and will kick-off with a Fundraising Brunch Saturday Sept. 4th, 2021 at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds. The organization invites all interested in learning about their efforts to attend. This event will highlight the causes supported by the nonprofit, and will be followed by lots of fun activities, including good food, music, car & Bike shows, and more. The goal is to bring like-minded individuals together to support a good cause, while repairing the social disconnect communities have experienced since COVID-19.

The fairgrounds are particularly ideal for the event, sitting on 65 acres located at 1400 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Rome GA 30161. A large amount of attendees are expected over the two days, providing an amazing platform for businesses to reach their target audience and individuals to showcase their specialty while contributing to the betterment of the community (For vendor information please call 561-818-6266). The event will showcase local performers and celebrity performances from Oshun, 2$ Fabo , and more.
