Royal Holiday Vacation Club & How the Travel Industry is Staying Safe

Have you been feeling concerned about traveling safely during the pandemic? Royal Holiday is doing all it can to prevent the spread of the virus while still helping travelers enjoy their trips.

MEXICO CITY, MEXICO, June 24, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Have you been feeling concerned about traveling safely during the pandemic? You have good reason to, as there's never been a more important time to ensure that you're taking care of yourself and your loved ones.

In light of ongoing concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, you can stay safe by getting vaccinated, wearing a mask, avoiding crowded indoor spaces, and social distancing when possible.

This article will take a more in-depth look at how to keep yourself safe as well as the safe travel options provided by the Royal Holiday Vacation Club.

Safe Travel During the Pandemic

In addition to the above measures that have been recommended by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) throughout the pandemic, here are some travel-specific things to keep in mind, both before and while you travel.

Before you travel

Have you been vaccinated? This is the single best way to limit the spread of COVID-19 so that you can safely travel. Just be sure that you allow at least two weeks after your second vaccine dose before traveling.

Do you have pre-existing conditions? If so, traveling is riskier for you because a COVID-19 infection will potentially be much more dangerous for you. Therefore, you will want to be extra careful while traveling to protect yourself.

Do you live with people with pre-existing conditions? If so, you can bring back the virus to them after your travels. You'll want to be extremely careful and perhaps even quarantine or get a COVID test upon your return.

While you're traveling

If vaccinated, you do not typically need a COVID test either before or after your trip (the exception being Hawaii, for now). However, depending on your destination in terms of travel abroad, you may need to present a negative test. And, before returning to the U.S., you will need a negative COVID test taken within three days before your arrival.

If unvaccinated, the CDC recommends getting a COVID test one to three days prior to your departure and again three to five days following your trip.

Beyond that, be sure to practice safe CDC-recommended COVID measures such as social distancing, avoiding people who are sick, wearing a face mask, frequent hand washing, and refraining from eating or drinking in crowded spaces.

Make a safe-travel packing list with items such as face masks, tissues, sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and a thermometer.
