Their compassion along with their recognizability within the community shines a light on the work of the Alcott Center and helps remove the stigma and shame often attached to mental health. "On behalf of our Board of Directors, Board Co-chair, David Sall, and our Chief Executive Officer Nick Maiorino, we welcome you. We are thrilled to be surrounded by such people of accomplishment and true dedication to the Alcott Center," says Board Co-chair Steve Tyler.

"I am honored and excited to be on the Board of the Alcott Center," says multiple Emmy and SAG award-winning actor/comedian Brad Garrett. "Their services and care are iconic and so crucially needed more than ever in these vulnerable times." Garrett recently co-hosted the Alcott Pajama Jam benefit with Joely Fisher in October 2020. Neil A. Barclay, President & Chief Executive Officer at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, has advocated for Alcott in many ways. "Alcott has been at the forefront of providing mental health and housing service to some of LA's most vulnerable citizens. Having lived in Los Angeles for much of my adult life, it is a privilege to be able to join the Board of Alcott."

Actress Lynne Moody has supported Alcott for years and truly believes in Alcott's mission. "Working with the Alcott Center is a great opportunity to make a difference. "The need to help people experiencing mental health challenges and homelessness is vital, and Alcott is on the front line with much-needed services. I am honored to be a small part of it."
