Esteemed as an attorney for more than 45 years, Mr. Neuer maintains his own private practice in Newark, representing clients in matters of transactional law, commercial real estate, corporate law, negotiations and commercial litigation and mediation. In addition to managing his boutique firm, he is active as the executive vice president and general counsel for Safer Textiles Group, a leading textile mill in Newark, and the Safer Development and Management Company as well as its real estate arm, which includes commercial and industrial properties in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia and an industrial subdivision in Mexico. Mr. Neuer's decades of expertise include working of counsel for law firms in Roseland and Parsippany, New Jersey.

Shortly following his graduation from law school, Mr. Neuer began his career as the assistant attorney for the town of West Orange, New Jersey from 1976 to 1977. During this time, he contributed to a number of several large projects before the local zoning board. He has cited helping to reshape the face of the community in which he lived as a very inspiring and rewarding experience. Among his other noteworthy roles, Mr. Neuer flourished as a partner at Margolis Neuer in Verona, New Jersey and Slavitt and Slavitt, Simon & Neuer in West Orange, New Jersey.

As an extension of his legal career, Mr. Neuer serves as a mediator on behalf of the Superior Court of New Jersey and the chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment for West Orange, for which he is now in his third term. He was also recruited as a receiver and special fiscal agent by several Superior Court of New Jersey judges and others in the industry and was appointed as a mediator for the Essex County Chancery Early Settlement Program. Additionally, Mr. Neuer excels as an adjunct faculty member in the Shack Institute of Real Estate at New York University since 2004 and Rutgers Law School since 2012.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Neuer initially pursued an education at the Baruch School of Business and Public Administration, now known as Baruch College in the City University of New York system, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1968. He subsequently attended postgraduate studies at Boston University from 1968 to 1969 before obtaining a law degree at Seton Hall University in 1976. Designated as a master of corporate real estate, Mr. Neuer was additionally admitted to practice law by the New Jersey Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Between 1969 and 1973, Mr. Neuer was enlisted in the U.S. Navy. During his time in the military, he was distinguished as one of the Outstanding Young Men in America and Sailor of the Year. Mr. Neuer eventually received his honorable discharge as a disabled veteran.
Mr. Neuer further provided his wealth of expertise to the editorial board for the Journal of Corporate Real Estate between 1998 and 2004 as well as a contributing author to "Core Readings in Corporate Real Estate." Moreover, he has found much success as a member of the board of directors and the past president of the Institute of Corporate Real Estate. He was also a member of the American Bar Association, the Urban Land Institute, the Essex County Bar Association and Mensa International. Likewise, Mr. Neuer has been affiliated with the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (NACORE), which recognized him as an Associate Member of the Year and the recipient of the George J. Fiore Award as a Corporate Real Executive of the Year for New Jersey for 1993.

Inducted to the Institute of Corporate Real Estate Hall of Fame in 2002, Mr. Neuer was also honored as the West Orange Citizen of the Year for 2010. Maintaining an AV-Rating through Martindale-Hubbell since 1978, he has been additionally featured in Super Lawyers since 2009. Furthermore, Mr. Neuer has been highlighted in many editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in Finance and Business.
