After a tenured career in logistics and management consulting, Mr. Albright transitioned into the role of chief operating officer of the Jackson Public Schools in 2020. Notably, the foundation of his success, emerged during his military service. Commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Ordnance Branch of the U.S. Army in 1976, Mr. Albright served to the rank of colonel in 1999, in which he remained until his retirement in 2004. After his retirement, Mr. Albright transitioned to working as the Director for Situational Awareness and the DeputY Director for Enterprise Solutions for the Office of the Secretary of the Army from 2004 to 2008. Following his service, he held a number of different positions in the private sector, operating as a leadership and managerial consultant and founder of Performance-Based Solutions Inc. and as the Vice President for Facilities Operations for the North American Education Market of Sodexo, a global quality of life services provider from 2008 to 2020.

Besides his current responsibilities with Jackson Public Schools, Mr. Albright began serving as the chief executive officer and board chairman of the Miss Tennessee Scholarship Competition Inc. in 2018. Passionate about mentoring, he decided to accept this position because he believed in the program and the opportunity to help some incredible women achieve their dreams of advancing into leadership positions. Playing an integral role in his community, Mr. Albright has also been active on the board of leaders of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Western Tennessee since 2010, chairman of the board of directors for Organization of Hope since 2010 and chairman of the Milan Drug Prevention Coalition since 2014.

While serving as the industrial operations project chief and a member of the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics for the U.S. Army between 2000 and 2004, then COL Albright oversaw logistics operations and policies at the Pentagon after the tragic events of 9/11. During this important and substantial time in his career, his mentorship and guidance were crucial so that the work of honoring and securing the remains of those lost on that day would take precedence.

Initially studying at the University of Dayton, Mr. Albright earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1976. He later obtained a master's degree in strategic studies at the U.S. Army War College in 2000 and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering at the University of Tennessee in 2001. He also completed postgraduate coursework in leadership and organizational management at the University of Phoenix.

Mr. Albright has been aligned with several professional organizations. He is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Association for Learning Environments, the National Fire Protection Association, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Ford's Theatre Foundation, the Williamsburg Foundation, and the Sons of the American Revolution. He is also a lifetime member of the U.S. Army Ordnance Corps Association, a founding member of the National Museum of the United States Army, and a charter member of the Museum of the American Revolution, the National D-Day Memorial, and the National WWII Museum, among other affiliations.

For his military service, Mr. Albright was awarded numerous awards and decorations including the Distinguished Service Medal from the Tennessee Army National Guard for his work in supporting Army National Guard combined training operations. Additionally, Mr. Albright was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate in 1976 and a Distinguished Graduate of the Ordnance Officer Advanced Course in 1980. A celebrated Marquis listee, he has been featured in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who in the World.
