Judi Schweitzer was selected among Who's Who in Home Building, by Builder and Developer in 2019 and 2020.

Ms. Schweitzer has excelled as the founder, president and chief sustainability advisor for Schweitzer & Associates (S+A) since 2006, bringing together Science + Art to optimize triple bottom line value with responsible and innovative land use solutions. The strategic real estate development consulting firm helps clients implement sustainable community development, multi-modal mobility and high-performance healthy building solutions that optimize the overall value of their properties, projects, communities and portfolios throughout the real estate life-cycle. As a subject matter expert, Ms. Schweitzer is a leader in diverse multi-disciplinary expertise, working at the intersection of policy, planning, design, development and economics. Her career includes decades of being a trusted advisor to investors/fund managers, legacy landowners, master planned real estate developers, residential resort communties, higher education and utilities.

An active Vice Chairperson for the Sustainable Development Council at the Urban Land Institute for ten years, Ms. Schweitzer is also a member of the President's Sustainable Action Committee at Truman State University and a four-time Governor Appointee to the California Green Building Code Advisory Committee from 2007 to 2020. She served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, where she designed and taught Sustainable Real Estate Development, and was a Lecturer in University of California Irvine's Sustainability II Course, through its Urban Design Public Policy and Earth System Sciences Department.

Furthermore, she has received many accolades throughout her career, including being recognized as the Most Influential Leader in Sustainable Development and receiving the Corporate Excellence Award, both individually and for Schweitzer & Associates. In 2020, she was honored as the Leading Sustainable Community Solutions Expert of the Year by the state of California. Subsequently, Schweitzer & Associates was celebrated as the U.S. Niche Advisory Firm of the Year in project management at the ACQ Global Awards.

Ms. Schweitzer has contributed to several publications, including a contributing writer for the second chapter in the book "Sustainable Megacities," which was published by Elsevier Journals, and an article titled "Cause and Benefits of Sustainable Development."

Selected among Who's Who in Home Building, by Builder and Developer in 2019 and 2020, Ms. Schweitzer has many notable achievements to her credit. She has proudly helped Truman State University start a campus-wide sustainability initiative that has evolved into the President's Sustainable Action Committee, assisting the University in achieving Silver-STAR status through ASHE (Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education). Ms. Schweitzer has also created an endowment for her stepfather, who taught at Truman State University for almost 30 years. Initially the Dr. Dr. Arnold Zuckerman Lectureship in History, the endowment was transformed into an Internship for the Digital History of Sustainability at Truman State University.

Prior to earning a Bachelor of Science in economics with a minor in business from Truman State University, Ms. Schweitzer completed coursework in environmental interior planning and design at the University of California Los Angeles. Initially, she pursued coursework in fine arts at San Diego State University before earning a Master's Degree in Real Estate Development (MRED) from the University of Southern California in 1991, and later graduating from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design in the Advanced Management Development Program (AMDP) in Real Estate Development. Ms. Schweitzer holds several certifications, including the Charrette System Program Certificate from the National Charrette Institute, and her certification as an Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).
