SYLVANIA, OH, August 17, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Carl E. Kegerreis with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Kegerreis celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Kegerreis is a retired federal officer and Vietnam war veteran who published his first book in 2010. "Tibby and His Friend's Big Secret," a children's book, is the story of a boy, his dog and a group of friends that go on a wild adventure together. All of its proceeds have been donated to Alzheimer's research.

A former employee of the CSX Transportation Railroad Federal Police of more than three decades, Mr. Kegerreis was promoted from a police officer to a lieutenant, captain and division chief of police until retiring in 1999. The CSX is notably a Class I freight railroad that operates throughout the U.S. and the Ontario and Quebec provinces of Canada.

Mr. Kegerreis previously served in the U.S. Army. Drafted in 1961, he became a security sergeant and he oversaw security for the Fifth Missile Battalion and the 56th Artillery in Wilmington, Ohio. Additionally, Mr. Kegerreis spent five years as a water safety instructor and senior lifeguard for the American Red Cross until 1960.
