My Software Tutor Launches Real-Time, Synchronous PowerPoint Training

Three levels of practical, functional eLearning with a live instructor added to existing Excel suite of courses

"Companies need to upskill & re-skill team members so they have more robust, diverse software skills," according to My Software Tutor founder Steve Bradbury. "MST's results have been quite powerful.

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 24, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- My Software Tutor, a successful eLearning provider of real-time, synchronous Excel training with a live instructor, today announced it has expanded its offerings to include a three-course suite of PowerPoint training. Like Excel, the course levels are Fundamentals for Newbies (1 x :90-minute session), Basics and Intermediate (both 2 x 2:00 hour sessions) all taught over Zoom. Class sizes are kept intentionally small to provide impactful personal attention. To celebrate the company's expansion, all MST courses taught during Sept & October are being offered at a 50% discount. Learners can use promo code: LAUNCH50. Visit the MST Registration page for dates and signup.

Why is MST different? Most eLearning is done on an asynchronous, location & time-independent basis meaning students independently study course material. They do not have real-time access to ask questions (or hope another student asks what they are hesitant to ask). MST provides synchronous learning – a live, social learning environment where students collectively participate. Questions are asked and answered. This is important for the materially large subset of adult learners whose learning experiences have primarily been enshrined in real-time communication with a live instructor. Our results speak for themselves.

"Companies are under increasing pressure to operate with greater efficiency in this pandemic-induced environment. They need to upskill and re-skill team members, to have more robust, diverse skills," according to MST founder Steve Bradbury. "My Software Tutor's results have been quite powerful. We survey learners after every course to understand if they will apply what has been learned, if their job performance will improve, and if their time a worthwhile investment? The aggregate responses have consistently been at or above the 90th percentile in every survey."."

MST has identified the prototypical participant as one of: Aspirational Learners (employees/job seekers seeking to upskill or re-skill themselves); Career Repeaters (promotion-seeking blue-collar, HS grads with repetitive job functions); Vertical Receders (those experiencing material reductions in size such as hospitality, travel & live entertainment); Downsizers (employees who have been impacted by corporate headcount reduction) and/or Mature Execs (mid-level to senior executives now working independently, whose prior team members typically were responsible for these deliverables.)

My Software Tutor provides real-time, synchronous training for adult Excel and PowerPoint learners. We work with companies of all sizes as well as unions, non-profits, and other organizations across all industries. The common thread is the desire to upskill (expand a current skill set) and re-skill (learn new expertise). MST also provides exceptional value to individuals who have reached a career crossroads. Job seekers, employees, consultants, and contractors all gain critical skills to increase their marketability and pursue opportunities that would not otherwise be available to them. MST has established a successful methodology to help people "turn on their learning lightbulb."
