CCK Announces Winner of 2021 Veteran Law Student Scholarship

    PROVIDENCE, RI, September 07, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD is thrilled to announce Christianna Golden as the winner of the 2021 Law School Scholarship for Veterans. This scholarship is awarded annually to one deserving veteran from any branch of the United States military who is pursuing a degree in law.

Ms. Golden first demonstrated her dedication to service as a member of the Marine Corps. Her experiences as a Manpower and Legal Officer in the Marines inspired her to pursue a career in law. As she begins her final year of classes at New England Law ǀ Boston, Golden's commitment to public service has only grown.

In addition to her course load, Ms. Golden has undertaken volunteer and leadership roles through her school. Golden leads and supports her fellow volunteers while also actively striving to improve the program as a whole, just as she did as an officer in the Marines.

"As the uniform I wear will shift from digital green Marine pattern to that of the drafter of legislation, two things about these uniforms will remain consistent; I am a public servant armed with the Marine Corps leadership traits and it is my duty to serve the people of this great nation to be part of something bigger than myself."

These opportunities for public service through legal advocacy, coupled with her time in the Marines, continue to energize and inspire Golden. After earning her degree, Golden aspires to draft equitable legislation that will ultimately strengthen and unify our nation.

About the Scholarship

The Law School Scholarship for Veterans is open to veterans of the United States military enrolled in an accredited U.S. law school or who have been accepted to an accredited U.S. law school. Applicants must be pursuing a juris doctorate (JD) degree.

Applications for next year's Law School Scholarship for Veterans are due on July 1, 2022.
