    LISBON, PORTUGAL, September 22, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A new contest from creative collaboration platform Musiversal aims to find the next Ed Sheeran or Taylor Swift (or Bob Dylan or Joni Mitchell) with $10,000 in cash awards for three top songs.

Up to 250 songwriters and music producers can enter their best songs for a chance to win $10,000 in cash awards in Musiversal's global songwriting contest.

Sign up on a waitlist to be notified when applications are open. On Sept. 28 Musiversal will email those on the waitlist with a coupon code for 40% off Musiversal® Studio 2, making the cost $29.40. Use Musiversal to record at least one instrument for your song and submit it via email by Oct. 28. Winners will be announced Nov. 28.

Songs will be judged by three industry experts: Magdalena Jensen, Creative Director and co-founder at Balance It Out Records; Nigel Harding, Global Vice-President of Artist Marketing at Deezer; and British music industry executive and music manager Stephen Budd.

Prizes will be awarded as follows:

First Place — Overall Best Song: $7,000 plus a one-year free subscription to Musiversal® Studio 2

Second Place — Best Lyrics: $1,500 plus a three-month free subscription to Musiversal® Studio 2

Third Place — Best Melody: $1,500 plus a three-month free subscription to Musiversal®
Studio 2
