Mr. Walker obtained an Associate of Arts in ministry from Crossroads College in 1971. Following this accomplishment, he attended Nebraska Christian College in Papillion, Nebraska, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in Ministry in 1981. Mr. Walker subsequently pursued coursework in supervisory management from the Madison Area Technical School in Wisconsin.
Mr. Walker served his country as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1972 to 1976. For his honorable and faithful service, he received a Good Conduct medal. During the length of his deployment during the Vietnam era, Mr. Walker functioned as a supply NCO for 2 years aboard the U.S.S. America, an aircraft carrier.
Presently, Mr. Walker entertains Midwestern audiences as a singing ventriloquist with his puppet Danny, singing gospel, oldies and country. He performs for retirement homes, senior centers, healthcare centers, children's programs, and church Gospel concerts. Mr. Walker attributes much of his success to his deep faith and regards his most important triumph as seeing the joy in the faces of others wherever he and Danny put on a show.
